Peste.com.br gathers, organises and classifies public information about plague (Yersinia pestis) and the Irkutsk laboratory case. We are not a health authority, we do not provide medical services and we do not issue individual clinical guidance.

We work to classify each piece of information (confirmed, reported or unconfirmed) and to cite sources. Even so, public-health information changes quickly and may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee that the content is complete, current or error-free. Corrections are welcome at [email protected].

The site points to third-party publications (WHO, CDC, news outlets). We neither control nor are responsible for the content, availability or practices of those sites.

The organisation, original texts and visual identity of Peste.com.br belong to the site. Third-party trademarks and content cited belong to their respective owners.
